I "stumbled" into self-employment in 2005 while still a student - and now look back with a certain humility on all the years since I started.
I began my interdisciplinary training and self-awareness journeys through the diverse contact with my clients and my developing sense of depth. This was followed by several years of training in holistic coaching, personal training, kinesiology, stress and prevention training and psychotrauma.
Above all, the loving and unconditional support of some mentors during my own personal phases of upheaval made me realise that my way of working should always focus on the holistic view. This is how the focus on the interplay between coaching, training and therapy developed.
In 2017, I received the NEOS AWARD for sustainability and social commitment at the Personal Trainer Conference
In addition to intensive and surprising contacts, some journeys and experiences were also very formative for my personal development. I always remember these experiences vividly and they never lose their colour.
One of my first major professional challenges was a six-month stay in Basel as a rehabilitation trainer and studio manager in a physiotherapy centre. It was during this time that I discovered my affection for Switzerland.
My year travelling in Australia, New Zealand, China and Tasmania gave me a lot of freedom, culinary delights, the fulfilment of some childhood dreams and many a test.
I have travelled adventurously in California and enjoyed relaxed surfing in Costa Rica. What I regularly repeat are the getaways I spend in Nepal to ground and inspire myself in the Himalayas and the emotional recharging I do in Scotland, where I feel at home.
I also appreciate romantic places on Lake Como and the many bars, cafés, wine bars and restaurants that create enjoyable memories.
My strengths
What makes me special
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
In the course of our lives, we meet many people who inspire and challenge us, whose communication is a small gift to us. For me, many clients, colleagues, mentors, friends and of course my family are beloved companions. I am happy and grateful for that.
The Nepalese are cheerful and curious about everything unknown. I was deeply impressed by the diversity of religions, the coexistence in the smallest of spaces and the orderly chaos in the midst of poverty.
Nepal is one of the twenty poorest countries in the world and yet there is a strong sense of togetherness, cosmopolitanism, tolerance and a willingness to share. There is more to learn about this. Click here and be inspired.
Holistic coaching and therapy - if it is meant seriously and comes from within yourself - means going into depth and consistently focussing on your own development.
I am really interested in your current needs. And as a holistic health craftsman, I use my tools to suit you and your goal.
Life often gets in the way. And what comes in between is rarely big, but often smaller, more subtle. But all in all, it has an impact on your own physical health, your social environment, the way you deal with your own feelings, your job, your family, and so on.
This is where I come in as a health practitioner. To provide orientation, reflection, condition work or therapeutic support during these phases of upheaval.
